Nurture & Play
Deep Cove Out of School Care is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for school-age children, before and after school. We strive to support each family and foster each child’s development through outdoor and indoor play-based programs.
Deep Cove Out Of School Care
Our Location
Deep Cove Out of School Care is located next to Seycove Secondary School in one of the complex’s portables. We are walking distance to Cove Cliff Elementary through the vast fields that separate both schools. Our fabulous location provides children with the freedom to walk and play on the way to and from school, as there are no busy streets in close proximity. The walk takes approximately 8 minutes.
Our facility is shared with Deep Cove Parent Participation Preschool. In our spacious classroom, children will have access to some preschool materials as well as activities geared towards children between ages 5 and 12 years old. Our indoor area and closed playground space encourages active play and provides an ideal and safe environment so children can have a well-rounded experience.
The spacious classroom was recently updated to encourage active play and access to playgrounds and green space are key part of our philosophy.
As Deep Cove area residents, we are passionate about the community spirit and love living in this gorgeous corner of North Vancouver. Supporting each other as residents and local businesses, as well as engaging in local matters, have allowed our community to continue flourishing.

Our Philosophy
We strive to enhance the child’s development and, most importantly, provide a nurturing, safe, and secure environment.
Our goal is to give your child the opportunity to engage in active play and collaborate on fun projects while providing the help and support our families need to thrive.
Communication Principle
Establishing clear and intentional communication between our staff and parents is an essential component of our philosophy, as we believe it to be crucial for achieving not just effective parent-provider relationships, but also a nurturing environment for the child.
